When I was just starting out and meditating for the first time I would lose my focus so quickly, like I'd regain my focus then I'd lose it no joke less than 10 seconds after, and this used to frustrate me (wrong mindset), I was like;
''I need someone to remind me to keep me focus, even if it's just periodically''
And I was like,
''Wait, maybe I can get a meditation app'
So I looked around the app store and looked for one, I didn't like most of them, they just felt like they were doing too much without getting the basics done, but then I found one that had a really simple interface and I could just tell that this was the one.
And I was right, it helped me tremendously, I was losing my focus like before but now I'd have someone remind me to go back to the breath. Instead of going on an adventure in my mind I'd just momentarily lose focus, beforehand I used to go so deep in my thoughts it just felt like I was daydreaming and not meditating.
One time the timer even went off and I was so deep in my thoughts I didn't even hear it, it was going off for like 3 minutes.
But this app helped me to focus again, just through gentle occasional reminders, which was exactly what I wanted.
This is an app perfect for you if you're a beginner just starting meditation or you're like me and you get frustrated at losing your focus so often.
The app is called Medito,
(I am not affiliated with them and they haven't contacted me to do this. This is just my honest opinion about what meditation app I've found the best)
The reason why I found it so good is because they have different presets you can set, so if you're not feeling like doing a 10min meditation they have a 3min preset, and sometimes I'm feeling good after the 3mins so I just continue doing it for longer.
You can also change the voice of who's talking, (don't worry they're not constantly talking, they don't say much).
I also like the fact that in the app they have a course that teaches you the basics of meditation.
It's also a good app for sleep and relaxing before bed, and they also have a bunch of 30-Day Challenges you can take as a way to challenge yourself and have the app keep you accountable as it keeps track of what days you did and even keeps track of how long you've been going into the app and how many minutes you've meditated which I found super cool, it also keeps score of the streak you're currently on, so it you see that you have a long streak of days in which you meditated, breaking it will scare you into not missing that day.
It also has a download feature which I also found useful. You can download the meditations so that if you don't have any Wi-Fi or data you can still access them. I've used this feature a few times.
I'm gonna be honest I didn't use all of the features of the app, I just mostly used the custom timer or the preset timer as it helped me stay focused cause of the guy occasionally reminding me.
If you're a beginner this is the app I recommend, it helped me out a lot when I was just learning about meditation and gave me the 'wings' you could say, to carry on on my own.
This is an app everyone has.
It may sound weird that everyone has a meditation app on their phone, (if that happened maybe my hope in humanity will increase a bit).
But believe it or not the next best meditation app is the Clock App, yes the clock, where you put alarms and timers.
I personally use this for my meditations nowadays as I don't lose my focus as regularly anymore, and I can notice quickly when I do.
It's literally so simple, you just set a timer, go and meditate.
But first you must #1. know how to meditate and #2. Have the correct mindset when meditating, and that's why I made a course on SkillShare that teaches you exactly that.
It's completely FREE and you get a 1 month free-trial to SkillShare as well. This is a great opportunity for you so don't miss it. Believe me, it will change your life, but you have to act on it.

So yeah, those are the 2 best meditation apps I've found, one more suited for beginners and the other for people who are already familiar with meditation.
And like always bro...
